Sudhanshu Patwardhan
Sud is a British-Indian, U.K.-licensed medical doctor, passionate about Healthtech innovation in cancer prevention. For the past two decades, he has lived and worked in three continents, doing senior roles in research, strategy and policy in the pharmaceutical and tobacco industries.
Sud splits time between the U.K. and South Asia on projects that address the needs of the most disadvantaged tobacco users. In 2018, he co-founded the Centre for Health Research and Education that now works with a team of over 100 medical and public health experts globally working in cancer prevention. Since 2021, Sud is also working on ESG projects.
Axel Klein
Axel Klein is a medical anthropologist with a commitment to advancing public health and social justice in different settings and contexts. He is particularly interested in evolving notions of addiction and in evaluating the merits of different social, medical, and criminal justice interventions. As a champion for humane health policy, he is long-standing advocate of regulation and harm reduction approaches to risky substances and lifestyles. With research experience in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the UK, he has a string of publications and has held positions at the Universities of Kent and Swansea. His research was critical for the WHO decision not to recommend the scheduling of tramadol, in persuading the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs to desist from recommending the banning of khat, and in moving the Caribbean Community and Market to considering ‘drugs’ as a medical as well as a security issue. Current interests include tobacco harm reduction, the health benefits of coca and in the adaptation of psilocybin for mental health treatments.

Shashank holds a professional degree in engineering. His ability to apply technology in operations planning and project management brings scale and sustainability to our projects.
Ankur Sharan
Ankur is a medical doctor, trained and graduated from Nanjing Medical University, China. Ankur holds a Masters degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Before moving to the UK in 2021, he worked in China and India in non-communicable disease management, focusing on cancer care. In the UK, Ankur is focusing on building GHC Consulting’s Non-communicable Disease (NCD) consulting practice, with a strong emphasis on Low and middle income countries (LMICs).
